YOUR TILE JOURNEY

01. Prepare for Your Visit

Before shopping for tile, it is best to gather inspiration and any relevant materials to help narrow your search. Start by collecting any photos of finished spaces with tile that you are drawn to, paint swatches and any relevant samples such as countertops, cabinets, flooring or fabrics, if relevant. If it is a new space, gather any plans, drawing or renderings that may help in the design process as well as a rough idea of square footage of the space, budget parameters and timeline requirements.

02. Design Consultation

Next, call or visit our showroom to meet with one of our experienced designers who will work with you to learn more about your project. Together, you will explore initial ideas, review your samples and inspiration, review likes and dislikes, and ultimately determine the type of material that is right for your project based on your needs, application and budget.

03. Selecting & Borrowing Samples

Once your selections are narrowed down, we encourage you to borrow samples from our extensive library to take home. Tile always looks different in your own home, with your lighting. Borrowing the samples and bringing them into your space can help you decide which option and color is right for your project.

04. Final Selections & Pricing

Once the you have made your tile selection, we will work with you to finalize the pricing and order the appropriate quantity for your job. This is also the phase where you will need to select an installer for your tile (if you haven’t already). Since the installation of tile is an art form itself, your installer’s input will be crucial in ensuring the right amount of tile is ordered for your project. If needed, we are happy to recommend a list of trusted installers in the area that we’ve partnered with to help you find the right person for your job. Once the installer is able to confirm the quantities of the tile you have selected, we will create a final estimate and timeline, and upon your approval, the tile will be ordered.

05. Picking Up Your Tile

All tile ordered is shipped directly to Concept II to be stored safely in our off-site warehouse where we handle all deliveries and check all orders for accuracy. We will contact you once your tile has arrived and from there you can schedule time with our Warehouse Manager to pick-up your tile. Although the remainder of the project happens with you and your installer, we are always available to offer design assistance and advice throughout the course of your project.
